Providence Academy Athletics sign-ups are now open for the Winter 2026-27 season, with basketball opportunities for students in K-12.
Winter sports sign-ups will remain open through Friday, Oct. 2. Families are strongly encouraged to sign up as early as possible, as registration numbers help us finalize teams, coaches, and schedules.
Our winter apparel store will also be open Sept. 21-Oct. 2, giving families one common deadline for winter athletics planning.
Winter Basketball opportunities
- K-2nd grade – Little Paladins co-ed skill development
- Select Saturday mornings mid-November – mid-February
- $50 covers 7 sessions, amount assessed in FACTS after first session
- Sessions focused on skill development
- Led by Providence coaches and older student-athletes
- 3rd-4th grade – separate boys and girls basketball teams
- Season after Thanksgiving break through the end of February
- $100 participation fee assessed through FACTS the week of the first game
- Generally 2 days/week with league season primarily in February
- 70:30 split training to competition, skill focused
- Play in GRACE League primarily with select Saturday tournament days and non-conference opponents
- 5th-6th grade – separate boys and girls basketball teams
- Season late October through early February
- $100 participation fee assessed through FACTS the week of the first game
- Generally 3 days/week, league season primarily after Thanksgiving through the end of January
- 60:40 split training to competition, skill focused + more non-conference games
- Play in GRACE League primarily with select Saturday tournament days and non-conference opponents
- 7th-8th grade – separate boys and girls basketball teams
- Season late October through mid February
- $125 participation fee assessed through FACTS the week of the first game
- Generally 4 days/week, league season primarily beginning of November through tournament after Christmas break
- 50:50 split training to competition, balanced skill development, team strategy, play/practice
- Play in GRACE League primarily with select Saturday tournament days and non-conference opponents
- 9th-12th grade – separate boys and girls basketball teams with projected JV and Varsity levels
- Girls WIAA season November 9 – March 13 (Regionals Feb. 23/26/27, Sectionals March 4/6, State March 11/12/13)
- Boys WIAA season November 16 – March 20 (Regionals March 2/5/6, Sectionals March 11/13, State March 18/19/20)
- $150 participation fee assessed through FACTS the week of the first game
- Generally 5 days/week, WIAA independent schedule and tournament eligible
- 50:50 split training to competition, playing to win

Spring 2027 sports sign-ups are also open early for families who already know their plans and would like to get ahead. There is no immediate spring deadline; a final registration deadline will be announced in early 2027.
Spring Sports opportunities
- K-4th Little Paladins Spring Program
- Planned spring multi-sport development program with exposure to several Providence sports
- Expected to include a mix of K-4th spring sports sampler activities + offseason K-2nd soccer development
- Final schedule, format, and cost are still being developed based in part on family interest
- Sign up now to indicate interest; additional details will be shared before families are asked to make a final commitment
- 5th-8th Boys & Girls Track and Field
- Season mid March through mid May
- $125 participation fee assessed through FACTS the week of the first meet
- Generally 3-4 days/week with primarily local Green Bay area meets with GRACE League opponents
- 5th-8th Boys & Girls Tennis
- Season late March through mid May
- $125 participation fee assessed through FACTS the week of the first match
- Generally 3-4 days/week with primarily local Green Bay area matches with GRACE and local public middle school opponents
- 5th-8th Boys & Girls Golf
- Season mid April through late May
- $180 anticipated participation fee to factor in professional instruction
- Generally 3 days/week including optional participation in Friday meets in May
- 9th-12th Track & Field – first year as independent program after previously being in a co-op
- WIAA season March 9 – June 6 (Regionals May 26, Sectionals May 29, State June 5/6)
- $150 participation fee assessed through FACTS the week of the first meet
- Generally 5 days/week as a WIAA independent attending variety of meets throughout Northeast Wisconsin
- 9th-12th Girls Soccer
- WIAA season March 22 – June 19 (Regionals June 1/3/5, Sectionals June 10/12, State June 17/18/19)
- $150 participation fee assessed through FACTS the week of the first game
- Generally 5 days/week as the lead school in a co-op with NEW Lutheran High School and as associate members of the Packerland Conference
- 9th-12th Boys Baseball
- WIAA season March 23 (pitchers March 15-21) – June 18 (Regionals May 28/June 2/3, Sectionals June 9, State June 15-18)
- Participation fee charged by NEW Lutheran, the lead school in our co-op
- Generally 5 days/week as a participant school in a co-op led by NEW Lutheran and their full membership in the Packerland Conference
- 9th-12th Girls Softball
- WIAA season March 16 – June 13 (Regionals May 21/26/28), Sectionals June 2/4, State June 10-13)
